China(Xi'An) Advcanced Manufacturing And Digital Industry Expo

On the morning of July 18th, the "2024 Second China (Xi'an) Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Industry Expo" grandly opened at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center (Chanba). Wu Dengchang, former Vice Governor of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, delivered a speech, along with Tong Baoya, Chief Engineer of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Meng Jun, former Deputy Secretary-General of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party General Branch of the Shaanxi Provincial Defense Enterprise Innovation Development Promotion Association; He Zenglin, Executive President of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce Technology Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce and Chairman and General Manager of Xi'an Tianhe Defense Technology Co., Ltd., who also gave speeches. Academician Lu Bingheng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering attended and presented a report on advanced manufacturing, sharing new opportunities brought by technological and industrial transformations. Liu Genxi, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Yanliang District in Xi'an, and Zhang Chao, Product Director of Tianhe Yunmai, also gave promotional speeches.

Nearly 500 experts, scholars, enterprise representatives, and media friends from across the country attended the opening ceremony.

This local expo is co-organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Shaanxi Provincial Defense Technology Industry Office, the China Association for Peaceful Use of Military Technology, the National Federation of Industry and Commerce Technology Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce, the Shaanxi Provincial Defense Enterprise Innovation Development Promotion Association, the Shaanxi Provincial Guosheng JMRH Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, the Su-Shaanxi East-West Cooperation Development Promotion Association, and nearly 30 business associations and industry organizations from within and outside the province, and is specifically hosted by Xi'an Maiges Exhibition Services Co., Ltd.

The expo, themed "Accelerating the Development of New Quality Productivity and Empowering Industrial Digital Transformation," covers an exhibition area of 42,000 square meters, with over 1,500 domestic and international enterprises and institutions participating. The three-day event features numerous industry giants, specialized new enterprises, and units like Beijing Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology, Northwest Machine, Tianhe Defense, Yanchang Petroleum, Gree Intelligent Manufacturing, Midea Hightron, Siemens, Zhongweixing, Newtime, Wago, Hone, Lingyun, Hongdi, MCC Saidi, Ningqing, Kolisbang, Zhongfu, Oriental Ruilei, Meiling, Zhongbei University, and many others. The exhibits cover advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment, including high-end equipment manufacturing, industrial automation, defense information, aerospace, defense electronics, robotics, new materials, and testing, bringing a technological feast in the field of advanced manufacturing and digital economy with tens of thousands of exhibits.

Multiple specialized sub-forums will be held concurrently, such as the "Military 'Black Light Factory' Domestic Innovation Application Technology Development Forum and Face-to-Face Closed-Door Exchange Meeting with Military Enterprises"; "Huawei Marketing Practical Sharing—Building Invincible Marketing Iron"; "Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Digital Transformation Forum"; "Xi'an-Chengdu Emerging Field Advanced Technology Achievements Exchange and Docking Meeting"; "Integrated Solutions for System Engineering, Design, Simulation, and Manufacturing"; and the "Future is Here—2024 Western China Industrial New Quality Productivity Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Development Forum," with themes like "Embracing Change, Innovating, and Seizing Opportunities." Professors from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Harbin Institute of Technology, along with industry elites from Shaangu, Siemens, Gree, Midea Hightron, Kolisbang, B&R, Huatai Technology, and Newtime, will gather to deeply discuss issues like "how to stand out in the era of involution, challenges, and breakthroughs in advanced manufacturing," and explore the further integration and expansion of integrated development in deeper and broader fields.

The expo revolves around national strategic needs, thoroughly studying and implementing President Xi Jinping's important speeches at the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Awards Conference, and the Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the spirit of the National Science and Technology Conference, further implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in conjunction with the important speeches and instructions during the President's inspection in Shaanxi. It aims to fully leverage the comprehensive functions of the expo, act as a bridge and link, accelerate revolutionary technological breakthroughs and deep industrial transformation and upgrading, and promote the integration of military and civilian sectors, schools and localities, and enterprises and research institutes, which holds positive significance.
